Notes about FunFangle:

1) FunFangle protects the HOA with the included liability waiver.

2) FunFangle prevents those outside the community from unauthorized use of the amenities.

3) FunFangle allows the HOA to track usage of each amenity which aids in budgeting for repairs and upgrades.

4) FunFangle ensures that we follow the county guidelines for occupancy.

5) FunFangle allows one to know the number of users in the fitness center and to plan accordingly.

6) FunFangle is not related to the COVID-19 pandemic in any way.

Monteray Shores HOA Amenities


Monteray Shores recreational amenities are located at the large clubhouse building near the main entrance to the community. Please create an account at monterayshoreshoa.funfangle.club to be granted access* to the following amenities:

  • Boat Launch
  • Fitness Center
  • Swimming Pool
  • Yoga (payments handled directly through service provider)
  • Pickleball/Tennis Courts
  • Massage (appointments/payments directly through service provider)

*no cost to owners and guests unless otherwise noted.

Note: An active FunFangle account is necessary to use any of the above listed areas. FunFangle reservations are required for all owners and visitors to access the fitness center and tennis courts.

The basketball courts are available from dawn until dusk. Basketballs are available at the clubhouse from 9AM until 6PM.

The tennis courts are available from 9AM until 7PM. All four courts are painted with the lines for pickleball. Tennis and pickleball equipment is available at the clubhouse from 9AM until 6PM.

Contact Us!

The Fitness Center is available from 6:01AM until 7:59PM with the four-digit code provided to you after registering with FunFangle. The building may not be entered outside of those times. In case of emergency, the building may be always exited through either restroom.

The playground is available from dawn until dusk. Please restrict use of the playground to those twelve years old and younger.

The swimming pool is available from 9AM until 6PM from the Saturday before Memorial Day until the Sunday after Labor Day. Please check in at the front desk of the clubhouse to confirm the number of people in your group.

Important Access Update

Boat Launch Access & Key Procedures

The boat launch barrier is now secured with a key lock rather than a combination lock.

A FunFangle reservation is still required

Clubhouse staff monitor all scheduled appointments to provide current access instructions and make any necessary arrangements before your scheduled use. Because access is now controlled by a key—and procedures may change periodically—owners and guests who arrive without a scheduled reservation may be unable to access the boat launch.

To avoid inconvenience, please schedule amenity reservations in advance. Advance reservations allow clubhouse staff to:

  • Coordinate access before your arrival
  • Provide the most up-to-date information
  • Monitor after-hours use
  • Ensure capacity limits are not exceeded
  • Help guarantee availability when you arrive

Amenities that do not require this level of oversight do not require reservations.

For property owners

Boat Launch Key Procedures

  • Property owners may request one boat launch key at no charge. The first key issued to an owner is free.
  • If a key is lost, a $20 key replacement fee will be charged.
For renters and guests

Two Ways to Access the Boat Launch

Visit during clubhouse operating hours

Clubhouse staff can provide access to the boat launch during operating hours.

In season: Monday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Check out a key from the clubhouse

A boat launch key may be checked out during normal office hours.

A $20 cash deposit is required when the key is issued. The deposit will be fully refunded when the key is returned.

The clubhouse office is staffed in March, April, May, September, October, November and December from 9AM until 5PM to answer telephone calls.

In January and February, please email. The email will be checked every morning around 9AM.

From the Saturday before Memorial Day until the Sunday after Labor Day the office is open 9AM until 6PM every day.
